Just want to warn others, I ran into an issue by just going by the MTD part number from my original Yardman riding mower manual (from 1999) the 754-0349 part number at that time refered to a 76inch belt, now the 754-0349 part number refers to a 79inch belt which is what this is. That's why I'm saying check the mtdparts.com site for your correct part number by the mower model number then buy it by that number.
For example, in my case my original part number for this drive belt from the mower manual was 754-0349 my mover is model number 13BX694G401 if you look that up on mtdparts.com on the "Drive, Wheels, Rear, Pedal Assembly" diagram part 77 is:
954-0338 V-Belt 1/2 x 77 10/30/00 & After
954-0441 V-Belt Type A x 76.1 10/30/00 & Before
So I bought the 1/2 x 76 inch belt and it fit perfectly, the 754-0349 was 3 inches too long
