I bought this blade for my Troy-Bilt 21" lawnmower that I bought at Lowes last year. Though the packaging labels this as an MTD blade, it is the blade model recommended in my owner's manual. Installation was very easy for my lawnmower. Though the original mower blade has a star shape in the center and this new blade has a rectangle, the fit was flawless and the cut is more than satisfactory.
I like the hard plastic on the end of each blade for safe installation; it's not easy to remove though. Removing the plastic before installation defeats its purpose, but that's what I did anyway. I was extra careful with those sharp edges.
Like this blade and I'll be buying more. So convenient to buy from Amazon.
